Garrett Wesley Gibbons was raised in the Seattle area. He lived in Andalucía, Spain for two years and then earned a Linguistics BA at Brigham Young University, with minors in Hebrew and Ballroom Dance. He danced on the BYU Ballroom Dance Company for five years, and enjoyed touring and performing across the United States.
He met his wife through ballroom dance, and they now teach dance at Bainbridge Ballroom. They also run Aderyn Productions, a photo, video, and media production business.
