Linguistics in Gibraltar
"People of the Rock: The Llanitos of Gibraltar" was a film connected to my Honors Thesis at Brigham Young University. My bachelor’s degree was in Linguistics, but with my experience and interest in film I wanted to go beyond the written paper.
American History
This is segment I worked on heavily while working as an editor and director of photography at BYU Independent Study. I was the main camera operator and assistant DP on this project. We shot mostly on a Panasonic HVX-200. I pieced together the score using licenses from omnimusic.com. I also performed sound cleaning, video editing, color correction, visual effects (3D stills, etc...), and worked heavily on set and wardrobe development. The only visual effects seen here that I didn't do are the flying yearly dates, designed by Jared Moench.
