Due to a popular request, I am adding brief reviews of films in some genres that are less common in the United States.
These reviews are not meant to be comprehensive in any way, but merely provide a guide to those who are looking for recommendations within one of these film genres:
- Asian Cinema (mostly Japanese and Chinese)
- Bollywood (mostly Bollywood musicals)
- Musical (mostly American and European)
There are plenty of places to look for lists and reviews of acclaimed Independent, Documentary, award-winning and other films. This space is for films that I love that I know are not widely known today. It is based on interest from those who ask me for movie-watching advice.
